Every time a user completes a race he/she is awarded a score. That score will affect his/her SailX ranking. The ranking serves several purposes: - Classify the sailors
- Assign sailors to different fleets when races are sailed in multifleet fields
- Filter the entry to some events or races
- Ranking is calculated periodically using the results of races, regattas and events.
